Dann Antiques was started in 1983 . The business is owned by Gary and Claire Low and is situated in one of the most unassuming places - a converted Old Dairy on the River Avon in the centre of Melksham. The 2nd floor premises has the advantage of 10,000 sq ft converted into showrooms. Once inside, it's a mecca to the collector, designer and individual who's only too happy to browse.

Gary started in the antiques business in 1983 at 'The Comedy'. In 1987 he joined what was to become Dann Antiques (formerly Jaffray Exports). The business has always been predominantly furniture based; however over time the addition of decorative items has become an integral part.

Dann Antiques is now divided into three categories:

• First and mainly, the Antiques sourced and bought throughout the UK, handpicked by Gary.
  
• Secondly, a full restoration service, taking care to bring back to life all the items bought by Gary, plus any work undertaken for individual clients.
  
• Thirdly, a full replica and design service where items are made to order; in addition to the catalogue of replica Oak and Country House furniture available.
