I have been involved in interior design since 1974, when I began my training with Colefax and Fowler, in Brook Street, London. Since 1982 I have been running my own business and have been a member of the British Interior Design Association for the last nine years.
The majority of my work has been in private homes, however, I have also undertaken the redecoration of offices, hotels and schools. My projects range from entire houses to single rooms.
I do not impose my ideas upon my clients, but will firstly listen to their own likes and dislikes carefully and then work with them to create an environment that is truly ‘theirs’.
Over the years, I have made an enormous amount of contacts with suppliers and craftsmen. I have accounts with many of the top suppliers of fabrics, wallpapers, carpets and furniture. I also have my own team of curtain makers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and specialist decorators, with whom I work closely. I am currently based in Hertfordshire.
Using a designer is often significantly less expensive than you might imagine. An interior designer will also save you from making costly mistakes.
