With an international client base and many repeat commissions Northwood has gained a reputation for creating successful and sympathetic design solutions for a huge variety of clients, both private and commercial, working to a wide range of budgets. Commercial clients include luxury hotels, golf clubs and health clubs. Our private residential design work ranges from apartments and town houses to country houses, shooting lodges and castles.

Our philosophy is to work closely with our clients to deliver design solutions sympathetic to the space with an emphasis on costs and timing. The majority of our work comes from personal recommendation. Projects vary from a single room to the refurbishment of whole houses and hotels.

Our style is tailored to suit the architecture and the client's requirements - sometimes traditional, sometimes contemporary but always classic. Our work has been featured in many design publications.

Fiona S Finlay, Director, is known for creating naturally elegant, timeless solutions that reflect her clients’ individual needs and lifestyles. A graduate of the Inchbald School of Design, she was a finalist in the inaugural Design & Decoration Awards 2003.
