Clearwater Spas was established several years ago when the Proprietor Ian Churms - QGM was involved in traumatic incident in his job as a police officer in 1998. As part of Ian’s rehabilitation he required extensive hydrotherapy treatment. The treatment worked so well that Ian decided to purchase his own hot tub, which lead to him working with the company that he purchased his spa from and gained in depth knowledge of the industry along the way.

After extensive research into the market Ian decided to launch his own hot tub business and embarked on a journey of sourcing products that no one else was selling in the UK. Two years later, Ian launched Clearwater Spas in his home town of Northampton with showrooms and a separate head office.

Since then the company has gone from strength to strength.

Clearwater Spas now has two showrooms with more in the pipeline and over 35 other trade retail distribution customers they supply with hot tubs and saunas.

Clearwater Spas is still making its name locally, nationally and worldwide gathering awards such as Prestigious Dealer status in America in 2004. This was topped in 2005 with the Diamond Dealer award, the highest award available and also Dealer of the Year.

Clearwater Spa’s is now the sole importers and distributors of two leading manufacturers in the USA, Great Lakes & Leisurebay. Ian’s main objective was and still is, is to offer the customer a premium product at an affordable price along with help, advice and after care.
