As part of a major European building consortium, DAN-WOOD specialise in the design, factory prefabrication and on-site assembly of high quality energy-efficient timber frame houses.

Our experience spans years of building more than 1,500 houses across Europe. Conforming to EU quality standards, DAN-WOOD houses are well known throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and we also supply customers in Sweden, France and Poland.

2004 marked our British debut with several self-build and development projects in Scotland where timber frame house building is predominant. Interestingly, our first Scottish customer is a practicing Architect who has designed and specified the house for himself. The company has built about 50 houses since then, in Cornwall, Isle of Arran, Isle of Mull, Dorset, Birmingham, Anglesey, Dublin and Cork area.

We have ISO 9001 certification encompassing all of our services including design, production and on-site assembly of timber frame houses.

We are also a member of UK Timber Frame Association.
