A lifetime of drawing and three dimensional art, combined with a love of horticulture has led Pamela to embrace her 'perfect job' with a true and dedicated passion. She enjoys an intimate collaboration with all those involved in the project and this is reflected in her work. Her gardens are very unique as are the owners, and she is always looking for new and interesting challenges to stretch her imagination and creativity.
For the last ten years Pamela has been working in and around South West London as an independent garden designer. Her background, however, is in art and design, with four years at art college followed by a successful career in animation, working on commercials and feature films. She then trained at the College of Garden Design and is now a registered member of the Society of Garden Designers.
It wasn’t just a passion for design which led her here, but an obsession for gardening and a love of the outdoors. She was introduced to growing plants from a very young age as her family background was one of gardening and farming in the North West of England. For the last twelve years her own small, South London garden has been open to the public through the National Gardens Scheme, which indirectly led her to this chosen career.
